Board's Northern Nectars

May 23th & 24th, 2020

Course fee per person $225.00 plus tax (if attending as a couple or friends and are willing to share manuals there is a discounted price of $175.00 for one particpant) 

Topics of the program include spring & summer maintenance, honey collection, spring & fall feeding, winter readiness.  Some good discussions and hands on experiences in a beehive!

All participants will receive a copy of the Ontario Beekeeping Manual written by the Tech Transfer Team associated with the Ontario Beekeeper's Association and the the University of Guelph (valued at $40.00) and Board's Northern Nectar's Beekeeping Essentials Manual (valued at $20.00).

Many other areas will be covered within the workshop, ie. signs of swarms, Queen rearing, equipment maintenance and yard set up.

Workshop schedule begins on Saturday at 9am for registration and 9am to begin course until 5pm.  Sunday begins 9am (to be decided by the group) running until 2pm. Refreshments will be provided but pack your lunch.
